The Beckhoff C6 Industrial PC Series is introduced with the C6340-0040 model, which is a solid and durable solution for harsh environments.
With a width of 134mm, a height of 196mm, and a depth of 226mm, this PC weighs 4.5kg and is thus a durable and adaptable machine suited for a variety of industrial applications. The C6340-0040 is a robust unit designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 55 °C. It can operate in settings when atmospheric humidity is up to 95% without condensation, ensuring reliable work in high humidity. This model provides excellent shock protection; it can support sinusoidal vibrations ranging from 10 to 58 Hz with a 0.035mm amplitude and from 58 to 500 Hz with a 5 m/s² amplitude. It boasts of shock/impact resistant capability of 5G (Approximately 50 m/s²) for 30 ms to protect against shocks. The EN 60529 rated enclosure protection of the IP20 means that the device is protected from solids larger than 12.5mm but not from water ingress. The power supply system employs a 24 VDC power pack with the power input range being 22 V to 30 V VDC. The maximum power consumption is about 95 W, with an additional consumption of 30 W while charging and 44 W with UPS output during blackout, which ensures power independence. Interference and EMI resistance conform to the standard EN 61000-6-2, while the emitted resistance conforms to the standard EN 61000-6-4 respectively.
The PC is also certified by the FCC as a Class A digital device and complies with part 15 of the FCC rules hence allowing its use in the USA. The C6340-0040 may be stored at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +65°C, providing more transportation and storage choices.
