The Beckhoff C5102-0060 is a complicated unit from the C5 Control Cabinet Series developed for use in severe manufacturing settings. This system supports up to 4th generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 CPUs and provides ample computing capability in an ATX form factor that allows for many upgrades.
It includes seven expansion bays that allow for extra cards and expansions, which is beneficial because it can adapt to evolving technologies. Durable in design, the C5102-0060 unit operates on a supply voltage of 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz and consumes a basic version power of 70W, making it highly energy-efficient. In the unit, there are two PS/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse, which improves its usage capabilities. Video output is controlled through two DVI-D output ports and one DisplayPort to provide high-definition video outputs. Network connectivity is quite good and two RJ-45 Ethernet ports allow the connection to the network at 10/100/1000 BASE-T which is quite ideal. The cabinet has two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports to meet the current needs for fast data transfer. Two RS232 D-Sub-9 serial interfaces are provided to provide a connection with the existing and new industrial devices as well.
The Beckhoff C5102-0060 is designed to operate in the harshest of industrial environments due to an IP60 rating during use, providing good protection against contact and ingress of dust, and an IP20 rating when not in use as it prevents contact with any object larger than 12.5mm. The designed temperature range for the system is 0-55 degrees centigrade; thus, the performance of the system is not affected by the change in weather conditions.
