The Beckhoff BK9103-1005 is a bus coupler from the BK EtherCAT Bus Coupler Series, designed for use in industrial automation systems. This device is capable of supporting up to 64 bus terminals, which can be extended to 255 terminals with a K-bus extension, offering flexibility and scalability for larger applications. The bus coupler supports 512 bytes of input and 512 bytes of output on the fieldbus, allowing it to handle high volumes of data in real-time operations.
The BK9103-1005 can manage 512 digital peripheral input/output signals and supports 256 analog peripheral signals for inputs and outputs. The K-bus current supply is rated at 1750 mA, ensuring sufficient power for connected terminals. The starting current is approximately 2.5 times the continuous current, and the device uses a recommended fuse of ≤ 10 A.
