The BK3020 which is in the BK EtherCAT Bus Coupler Series is a standard bus coupler that has been designed to improve connectivity and control on the production floors.

This unit, constructed with precision by Beckhoff, is intended to be easily incorporated into Beckhoff systems as well as other automation systems. Since the module is designed as a Profibus peripheral that does not support Profibus FMS, it is optimized for use with the GSD-compatible versions of the BK3000. It can handle large data sets because it has the input and output data processing capability of 128 bits which is important for the management of intricate operations as well as the management of flow of data within industrial operations.
