Product Description
The BC9120 is a Bus Coupler with an Ethernet interface that features a wide range of applications and can be incorporated into any automation system. It is equipped with data memory with a capacity of 128 kbytes, a remanent data memory capacity of 2 kbytes, and a modem-supported data storage capacity of an extra 1 kbyte. It makes up for the power loss that would otherwise cause a loss of memory. The cycle time elapsed by the PLC corresponds with an output of 1000 instructions taking about 1 ms which entails rapid performance, although without the I/O cycle time of the K-bus.
The Workstation2 software package of BC9120 supports various programming languages such as IL, LD, FBD, SFC, ST following IEC 61131-3 standards which enlarge the possibility of programming. It allows the implementation of changes without the locking up of the system. The maximum number of bus terminals managed by the device is 64, but can be theoretically expanded to 255 terminals through the K-bus extension.
In terms of connectivity, the BC9120 can drive in 512 bytes and output 512 bytes through the field bus and can accommodate up to 2040 Digital These supported communication lines use TwinCAT ADS and Modbus TCP with the added capability of self-identifying data radio speeds of 10/100Mbit/s. It possesses a dual RJ45 port structure that has a two-channel switch making connection provision and networking very easy and quick. The voltage supplied is 24 V DC, with a tolerance of 15% +20%, making it eliminates factors restricting system use. The BC9120 is designed to be used in a highly reliable environment due to the wide provisions for digital and analogue IO as well.
