Rated to operate at 25 A output current, the AX5125-0000-0202 is a single-channel or 1-axis Digital Servo Drive from BECKHOFF. This compact drive comes featured with the EtherCAT interface and its hardware and firmware version are 2.0 and 2.10 respectively. The AX5125-0000-0202 can be operated over a wide range of 3-phase supply voltage I.e. 100 to 480 V AC. This model is fully compatible with the AX-Bridge system which offers quick connectivity between compatible AX5000 Series servo controllers. The feedback interface incorporated in this device supports almost all the common standards being used in the industry.
This digital servo controller is best known for its compatibility with the EtherCAT. EtherCAT is an industrial Ethernet system that provides fast and quick connectivity between field devices, controllers, and human-machine interfaces at high bandwidths. Today, EtherCAT is being used in almost every industry. The AX5125-0000-0202 is considered an economical and viable solution as it can easily be integrated into any existing EtherCAT system. You can operate this drive controller remotely over high-speed EtherCAT system communication protocols through separate EtherCAT ports provided for incoming as well as outgoing data. In its default configuration, the AX5125-0000-0202 comes with basic resources. However, a number of accessory modules including safety cards, filters, and extension modules are available for this servo controller.
With this model, you will be able to achieve a link distance of up to 100 meters between the motor and the drive. The AX5125-0000-0202 has DC-Link voltage provision as well. You can use this DC-Link for supplying DC power to an external brake resistor. A maximum voltage of 875 V DC can be drawn from the DC link of this compact servo controller.
