Beckhoff's AX5206-0000-0200, a two-channel servo drive in the AX5000 series, is a sturdy device applicable in challenging industrial environments due to its performance, versatility, and cost benefits. Such systems typically integrate a power amp, a power supply, an EMC filter, and DC link capacitors; this allows system integration to be made easier and hardware costs to be minimized.

Each channel has a current rating of 6 and 13 amps maximum which makes it applicable in a number of different areas controlling synchronous, asynchronous, linear, torque and voice coil motors. The multi-feedback interface supports to a variety of SinCos, resolver, EnDat 2.1, Hiperface, BiSS B and OCT motor and sensors systems and interfacing circuits. As a system bus the AX5206-0000-0200 uses EtherCAT and ensures the required interfaces are compatible with PC based control systems. Its cascaded control loop is well capable of providing accurate positioning and dance around positions which are ideal for applications that require versatile movement control abilities. It also offers sensorless operation with synchronous and asynchronous motors implying its wide application.

The AX-Bridge system supports connecting to multiple fluid links of the AX5206-0000-0200 devices quickly reducing the multi-axis assemblies and speed adjusting. In addition, an optional AX5206-0000-0200 module is implemented which allows maintaining the required safety principles EN ISO 13849-1:2015 (Cat. 4, PL e) and SIL 3, and therefore operating under demanding circumstances. The tail end of voltage range within which the power supply operates is 100 to 480 AC volt. The upper ambient temperature range is 50-degree Celsius. The AX5206-0000-0200 is CE, cULus, and EAC certified for competent use in diverse industrial environments. The TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2 Easy commissioning is also eased and makes setup more user friendly & effective.
