Product Description
AX2010-S61000-520 is a Beckhoff AX 2000 series digital servo amplifier. It is designed for control of linear, asynchronous and synchronous Beckhoff motors. The amplifier requires three-phase AC input for normal operation. However, the amplifier must only be connected to grounded three-phase AC mains. Single-phase AC input can be used during system set up. The input range for 50 Hertz line frequency is from 230 to 480 Volts AC. The input range for 60 Hertz line frequency is from 208 to 480 Volts AC. Power output of the AX2010-S61000-520 amplifier is 7 kVA. Its nominal output current is 10 Amps rms and the peak output is 20 Amps rms. The overvoltage protection threshold is from 450 to 900 Volts. DC voltage range for the amplifier DC bus is 290 to 674 Volts.
Configuration options include PC based software connected via either the CAN interface or the RS-232 interface, or direct configuration via the integrated keypad and LCD display. Mechanical specifications for the AX2010-S61000-520 amplifier include 4 kilograms weight and dimensions of 275 x 70 x 265 millimeters. The ambient temperature for rated operation is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Derated operation is permitted at 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. The amplifier output also derates if the site elevation is more than 1000 meters. Derated operation is permitted at elevations up to 2500 meters. Noise emission of the amplifier does not exceed 45 dB(A). Its protection rating is IP20. The typical installation position is vertical. Ventilation is provided by a built-in cooling fan. The amplifier contains ESD sensitive components that can get damaged by improper handling. Personnel should themselves before touching the amplifier. The servo amplifier should be placed on a conductive surface during maintenance.
