This AS2042-1H00 motor operates within the range of 24–48 V DC and is characterized by a holding torque of 6.40 Nm at a rated current of 5.6A, a stepper angle of 1.8°, which makes it suitable for most applications where both strength and precision are required. Encoders of this motor have torsion proof 1024 inc/rev, hence feedback and positioning are accurate. It adopts the M12 high power connection method and works between the ambient temperatures of -10…+40°C. The motor has also various approvals/markings like CE, EAC, UL (in preparation). Creation of the motor also provides protective equipment against the ingress of solid objects, such as dust, and water splashes, this is the IP54 protection.
Critical dimensions are: A: 73 mm, B: 14 mm, D: 30mm, K: 120mm (130.5mm with encoder), X: 102.3 mm. The AS2042-1H00 is built to withstand an environmental temperature not exceeding 130°C according to IEC60085 and inundating.07 with a maximum temperature rise of 80 K at the rated current. It has an insulation resistance of more than about 100 MΩ and it can be used in temperature range of -10°C to + 50 °C with a storage temperature of +70 °C to -25° C. The motor can be operated in non-condensing conditions of 20% to 90 % of relative humidity and altitude of 1000 m above sea level.
The motor is entirely either horizontal and vertical installed, but enough ventilation is provided for it to be cooled efficiently. The longest distance between the motor and the terminal can be 10 m inclusive. In very adverse working conditions, some additional measures may be taken to provide protection against corrosion, which would have been agreed by the manufacturer and user.
