The AS1050-0120 can easily be integrated into the auxiliary as well as into the positioning drive in more demanding industrial applications. It is a stepper motor that belongs to the AS1000 series. NEMA23 (56 mm) flange stepper motor provides a holding in torque of 1.20 Nm rated current of 5.0 A making it very effective in where accuracy motion is greatly required. An operating voltage range of 24-48 V DC is required. Its 1.8° step resolution (200 full steps) offers accuracy that can be achieved without feedback, making it effective in high-end applications that require precision mechanics.
The AS1050-0120 has an M12 connector that connects to a cable harness. This device operates in ambient conditions of 0 to +40°C. It is CE, suitable for industrial purposes and safety. The protection level is graded MK5 and above. The dimensional characteristics are 38.1 mm (A), 6.35 mm (B), 20.6 mm (D), 75.8 mm (K), 47.14 mm (L), 33 mm (M), and 24 mm (O) so it is compact and can be applied in places with limited space. It has been constructed with mobility in mind, storage class 2K3 as defined in EN 60721. It can be transported within a range of -25 °C to +70 °C and can be stored in a range of -25 °C - +55 °C with relative humidity not exceeding 5%-95% non condensing.
While in transit or being stored, careful handling of the motor or its components must be exercised and these processes should be done by competent persons. The motor was protected keeping it from being aggressively bumped with the shaft's part that sticks out. The motor should only be transported and stored in its original packaging.
