The AM8552-1F20-0000 is a high torque density permanent magnet synchronous machine, which is designed for industrial loads. It operates in any voltage from 100 to 480 V AC. Its no load standing start torque output is 8.20 Nm, rated torque output is 7.50 Nm. It can attain maximum torque of 35.32 Nm and at a rated speed of 2000 min⁻¹, it has an output power of 1.57 kW. It has a standstill current of 3.30 A and a maximum continuous current of 17.9 A, the torque constant is rated at 2.48 Nm/A. The rotor moment of inertia is equal to 10.6 kgcm2 which makes this motor applicable where high performance stability is desired.
The feedback means includes a resolver, OCT (One Cable Technology) of 18-bit resolution and absolute encoders either single or multi-turn. So too is the possibilities of introducing EnDat 3 which makes it more focused in automations. Natural cooling is applied hence the motor can function well in the environment temperature of +5 to +40 degrees Celsius. The motor also employs M23 speedtec® plug connection technology that has characterized plug in types of other electrical components to seal on devices very well.
As compliant with the standard EN 60721, for the safe storage, it is proposed to use the motor class 2K3 climate, where the temperature is maintained between -25 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees plus and those shifts should not exceed 20 K/Hr. The relative air humidity shall be kept in the range of 5% - 95%, non condensing. Only the manufacturer’s original packing which is reversible packaging should be used for storage of the motor. There is no time restriction for storage.
