The AM8543-0H20-0000 is a three-phase synchronous motor permanent magnet excited for exceptional industrial oriented permanent applications. If utilized within the voltage range of 100 up to 480 V AC, this motor has a standstill torque of 5.65 Nm and a rated torque of 4.90 Nm. It has a maximum torque of 28.0 Nm at the operational speed of 5000 min – 1 with a power output of 2.57 kW. Its standstill current is 5.40A and can handle peak currents of 31.0 A; develops a torque constant of 1.04 Nm/A. The rotor moment of inertia 6.41 kg·cm² is ideal for fast response systems that require high torque.
The motor also features feedback devices, OCT (One Cable Technology) 18 bit and 24 bit compatible with SIL 2 and 3 retaining high accuracy in motion control. The motor is blown cooled and is able to work in ambient conditions of +5 to + 40°C. The motor connecting procedure involves the use of M23 speedtec® plug technology that also provides electrical connections in factory type surrounding.
The characteristics of the motor design involve coupling features, for which double-coned collets are attached to metal bellows couplings to facilitate motion with zero backlash. The flange dimensions suitable for IEC standards with a fit j6 (h7 for AM811x motors) and accuracy as per DIN 42955 Tolerance class N. The hub is cylindrical as per DIN 748 Part 3 with a centrally located kvinne in the following and geometrical direct dimensioning with regarding threads INNA 332 Part 2 to further applying it to multiple schemes of industrial utilization. The IP rating of the motor casing is IP65 for all models except AM811x series IP54 offering a good level of protection against dust and moisture.
