Product Description
The AM8542-2F01-0000 permanent magnet-excited three-phase synchronous motor is specifically designed for industrial applications and possesses outstanding at low performance. It is rated for a nominal voltage of 100 to 480 V AC, producing a standstill torque 4.10 Nm and a rated torque 3.70 Nm. The motor is capable of following electrical peak torque of 18.5 Nm with the rated speed of the electric motor equal to 5000 min⁻¹, generating 1.94 kW. The 4.10 A is the standstill current and a maximum primary current of 22.7 A with the torque constant of 1.59 Nm/A and voltage in 108 Vmin/1000. This motor adopts a flange code f4 (87mm) and has a motor length “2”, along with a shaft diameter of 19 mm making it fit for a number of industrial applications where accuracy and reliability, in performance, are required.
This motor unit is equipped with basic protective features in their designs but still issued instruction regarding safety of use is significant to minimize the risk of personal injury and damage of equipment or components including the servo-motor as well. Such one is the AM8100 series servomotors as this one is that do not operate individually and have to be included in the machine system. As passive guidelines have been incorporated in an elaboration focusing on the subsequently discussed and accompanied workings of additional documentation attached within that are handed over along with the machine for operational purposes.
Jacketing this motor poses a health hazard due to high electrical voltage that may cause injury if not handled with care. The servomotor must be closed at all times and should not be live as this will void Beckhoff Automation Lucent Technology's warranty and liability for the troublesome heart of their system. It's also important to pay attention and check that the protective conductor remains connected in order to avoid electrical hazards.
