AM8542-0F20-0000 is a high power, permanent magnet, three-phase synchronous motor designed for a high-demand industrial environment. Within this voltage, the motor provides a full torque of 4.10 Nm and a rated torque of 3.70 Nm at the mains supply voltage of 100-480V AC. It is noted that this motor is rated at 18.5 Nm of peak load with angular velocity of 5000 min⁻¹ at the rated power output of 1.94 kW. It has a current rating of 4.10 A and can be operated by pulsed currents up to 22.7 A with a torque constant of 1.00 Nm/A. The moment of inertia of the rotor of this motor is 5.51 kgcm², which renders it very useful in situations that require exacting control alongside high torque at high speed.

The motor has exceptional internal feedback systems like a resolver, single turn absolute encoder, OCT One Cable Technology-18-bit/24-bit single turn/multi-turn encoders. Active torque feedback system parts consist of devices such as electronic name plates and are SIL 2 or SIL 3 with EnDat 3 for highly accurate position controls in the different complex automation processes enhancing safety and efficiency.
