The AM8541-0EH0-0000 is an excellent industrial three phase synchronous motor with permanent magnet excitation. It supports a nominal AC voltage range of 100V to 480V and has a standstill torque of 2.45Nm while its rated torque is 2.27Nm. The motor is rated at an operational speed of 6000 min⁻¹ providing a power output of 1.45Kw with the ability of reaching peak torque of 9.00Nm. Its standstill current is 3.00 A rated while its peak current provides 13.6A making its torque constant of 0.81 Nm/A. The rotor moment of inertia is 4.62 kgcm² so the design is applicable for high torque and quick response applications, stability is also assured.
The motor is designed to utilize a resolver and/or single turn absolute encoder and with the reversing options incorporated, good position control is achieved, bettering the motor integration into sophisticated automation systems. The motor also utilizes this mode of cooling through convection and can therefore function efficiently between the ambient temperature of +5 to +40°C. This motor uses a M23 speedtec® plug in order to provide electrical connections in an industrial setup.
It should be pointed out that the performance data of a motor, with the exception of the voltage constant, are based on an ambient temperature of +40 C and a winding overtemperature of 100K. If these values are realized with a tolerance of +/- 10%.
