Product Description
The AM8532-0D21-0000 is a high-performance permanent magnet encouraged three-phase synchronous motor intended for industrial applications with precision control and high torque requirements. The motor operates over a nominal voltage range of 100 to 480 V AC and provides a standstill torque of 2.38 Nm and a rated torque of 2.30 Nm. It runs at a rated speed of 3000 min⁻¹ and covers a rated power output of 0.72kW, with a maximum doable torque of 11.66Nm. The current rating at standstill is 1.70 A and the motor has a maximum current capability of 9.60 A. A torque constant of 1.40 Nm/A applied to the motor allows it to perform within the rated current range. The rotor moment of inertia is 2.05 kgcm² which makes it suitable for applications that need fast torque control characteristics and stability.
Also, incorporating OCT (One Cable Technology) feedback, the motor allows high-resolution position control due to the electronic nameplate capable of supporting 18-bit or 24-bit resolution which is easily integrated into modern automation. In the case of this motor cooling is done by means of convection mode and hence the motor is designed to function optimally within ambient temperatures to the range of +5 to +40 degrees. The motor assembles itec® plug connection technology to meet the needs of electric wire connection.
In these situations, the first thing to note is that, because this is a large complex system, there are many factors which can contribute to such an issue. The causes of fault as found in most troubleshooting guides are mainly those that affect the motor, yet the controller operation is quite often affected by incorrect tuning of parameters of the servo terminal. Any issues that emerge here need one to consult the technical documents for the servo terminal as well as the commissioning software.
