Product Description
The AM8131-1F10-0000 is a three-phase synchronous motor with internal permanent magnets purpose built to operate with precision and high efficiency under demanding industrial working conditions. It has an operational range of 24 to 48V DC. This motor provides a stall and nominal torque of 1.35 Nm and can generate peak torque of up to 6.07 Nm. It is able to obtain a steady performance of rotation at 1000 min⁻¹ and deliver a power output rating of 0.14 kW. The motor has a standstill current of 5.0A and can handle peak current of the order of 27.8A, the motor has a torque constant of 0.27 Nm/A and rotary inertia 0.462 kgcm² which is excellent for applications that require quick acting low speed rugged torque doing work at low speeds.
The motor has a combination of three feedback techniques, which are resolver, one-turn absolute encoder, and OCT. Some of these systems are: an 18-bit single single-turn or multi-turn Absolute Encoder with Electronic Template, a 24-bit SIL 2 (MRD sensor), and a system with a resolution of 19 bits and SIL 3 capable – EnDat 3.
The thermal management of the motor is designed through cooling with the ambient temperature of +5 to +40 degrees Celsius operational. Motor itself is equipped with itec® plug connection technology, which provides high reliability of the joint and simplicity in the installation. It is necessary to guard the servo terminal and the motor respectively to avoid any failures. In this case, the earthing of the mounting plate as well as the housing of the motor are required for EMC and shielding purposes. In case the OCT is used in conjunction with the AM8100 series motors, the cables included in its package approved by Beckhoff should be used only.
