The AM8131-0F20-0000 is a very robust three-phase synchronous motor with internal permanent magnet applied for industrial applications where precision and reliability are needed. This motor has a nominal voltage rating of 24-48 V DC and provides a standstill as well as rated torque of 1.35 Nm which can be increased to 6.07 Nm. Rated at 1000 min⁻¹, the motor works at a power of 0.14 kW providing rated torque at low speeds that is intended for the applications where torque must be supplied steadily at low speeds.
The motor has a rated standstill current of 5.0 A and rated maximum current can be 27.8 A. It is also important to note that the motor has a torque constant of 0.27 Nm/A and rotor moment of inertia equal to 0.462 kgcm². This allows for better control of torque and faster acceleration of the motor making it applicable in applications that require quick response.
In terms of feedback, the motor provides several high-tech solutions with a resolver, single-turn absolute encoder, and different variants of OCT – one cable technology, including 18-bit single turn or multi-turn and 24 bit SIL 2 absolute encoders, EnDat 3 with 19 bit resolution SIL 3 feedback. Each such feedback system includes an electronic nameplate with the appropriate position control. Convective cooling is incorporated into the design, and the motor functions well within the temperature range +5 to +40°C. Integrates iTEC® plug connector technology to facilitate the connection and disconnection of wires safely. It is recommended to install the motor and use them in operating conditions where backlash-free friction-locking collets or couplings are used since improper Vibration can damage the bearing and coupling.
