Product Description

The AM8122-0F10-0000 is a high performance three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor excited by permanent magnets suitable for the most precise driving in the most stringent industrial applications. The nominal voltage spans within which the motor operates is between 24 and 48 V DC and at standstill and rated torque of 0.80 Nm, the motor able to reach a peak measured torque of 4.06 Nm. The rated speed is 2000 min⁻¹ which produced even the 0.17 kW out, that is meant for operations which are dynamic judges.

The motor has a torque constant of 0.20 Nm/A and a rotor moment of inertia 0.253 kgcm^2 which gives an allowance on rapid speed up and speed down control. It has complete motor feedback wherein a resolver and a single-turn absolute encoder, OCT (of 18 bits and 24 bits SIL 2 capable), and EnDat 3 (19 bits SIL 3 able) are included. Elimination of heating is rendered by convection, which utilizes the external environment between +5о C to + 40о C as the motor's operating environment.

Permanent magnet holding brake which can be fitted to this motor if required, operates on the principle of clamoring current 24 VDC ±10%. The holding brake is fatigue resistant for more than 10 million switching operations, but not suited for service braking and wear monitoring in vertical axis applications since those scrubbing devices need to be put on. For such applications, additional measures must be taken to ensure safety such as redundant brake units, mechanical locks, or additional weight. The holding brake can be employed in emergency stopping, thus ensuring stoppage of up to two thousand times from three thousand revolutions per minute with use of about three times the motor internal inertia. However, these figures differ if load inertia changes.
