AM8121-1F21-0000 is a high-performance DC powered servo motor. Beckhoff has equipped it with an 18-bit multi turn encoder with OCT technology. This accurate sensor provides accurate real-time feedback for the motor controller which enables precise control of motor speed and position. The AM8121-1F21-0000 has a 54 millimeter flange for machine mounting. The shaft includes a groove and feature key and is DIN 6885 compliant. Voltage rating of the holding brake installed on the unit is 24 Volts DC. Its holding torque is 2 Nm, the power draw is 10 Watts and the current draw is 0.3 Amps. Release time for the brake is 25 milliseconds and its application delay is 8 milliseconds. The aluminum housing is IP54 compliant. A power coat is applied to the motor housing for added protection.
