Product Description

The AM8121-0F10-0000 is an adaptive low-voltage servomotor which meets severe industrial requirements. This motor is designed to operate with voltages lower than 50 V DC, and can bear steady-state torque less than 1.5 Nm. This motor also features an OCT feedback system with an 18bit absolute encoder which increases positioning accuracy and reduces the error.

This type of AC synchronous motor has a flange code F2 (58 mm), three, and a motor length of "1," characteristic of compact motors meant for space constrained installations. The “linking shaft” is 9 k6 of which the free end has a 20 mm shaft dimension, which is good for coupling with different mechanical attachments. The said motor has a rate of revolutions of 3000 r/min wherein the drawbacks as regards to standstill current of 4.0 A allow for neither too high temperatures nor too low neutral shear loss. Another distinct characteristic of the AM8121-0F10-0000 is its SIL 3-capability which implies safety for critical applications in the industry. It is also UL, CE, uCL certified and therefore clinically safe and healthy as per international standards.

As designed, the surface temperature of the motor generally reaches 100 °C or higher during use, which can lead to risk of burns. Therefore, such risk is avoided by not touching the external body of the motor during and after the operation and waiting for at least 15 minutes after the operation. Ensuring that the unit is installed correctly, with the necessary distances for ventilating descendants and in the correct climatic conditions, is necessary for the actual and trouble-free operation of equipment. AM8121-0F10-0000 should only be used by skilled electrical engineers who are literate in the operation of drive equipment of utmost quality. Likewise, before placing the motor within a machine, it is important to observe the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive, including all harmonized standards and regulations.
