Product Description

AM8111-0F21-0000 is an AM8100 series servo motor. Beckhofff has designed these brushless motors for demanding servo applications. When used in combination with Beckhoff servo drives, these motors form an optimal solution for applications such as industrial robotics, transfer lines, and machine tools. Permanent magnets are used on the motor rotor and enable low-inertia operation. Electronic commutation, used in place of carbon brushes, makes these motors reliable and safe for industrial use. AM8100 motors support an optional holding brake that cannot be retrofitted. The housing is made of aluminum and is coated with a power coat. This coat is not resistant to solvents such as thinners and should be protected from similar liquids. Protection category of the motor is IP54. The ambient temperature is 5 to 40 degrees Celsius for altitudes up to 1000 meters.

The output of the motor derates above 40 degrees, and reaches 20% at 55 degrees. The permissible maximum relative humidity is 95%. Service life of the motor ball bearings is 30,000 hours. Standstill torque output of the AM8111-0F21-0000 motor is 0.2 Nm. The standstill output current is 2.85 Amps. Maximum speed the motor can sustain is 10,000 RPM.
