Product Description
The AM8033-0E11-0000 is a cost-efficient motor under Beckhoff’s AM servomotor line, featuring a high-power density and a brushless core type. Like all other AM motors by Beckhoff, the AM8033-0E11-0000 incorporates a built-in feedback system for rotor monitoring. The type of feedback system applicable for this motor is an OCT single-turn encoder, which can monitor the rotor’s angular position per revolution with a high degree of accuracy. Specifically, the AM8033-0E11-0000’s feedback system has an accuracy of 0.03 degrees. Throughout its operation, a reliable thermal contact sensor monitors the internal winding temperature. When the winding temperature of the motor reaches 140 Celsius, the motor turns off automatically.
When allowed to reach its nominal speed, the AM8033-0E11-0000 can drive loads at a torque and power rating of 2.98 Nm and 0.94 kW. At this torque rating, the shaft revolves 3000 times per minute and draws a root mean square current of two amperes. When the motor is operated at a lower speed, the machine can sustain its standstill values. The standstill values for the AM8033-0E11-0000 are 3.2 Nm and 2.1 A. Since the AM8033-0E11-0000 is relatively a small type of motor, the difference between the standstill and nominal current is minimal.
The AM8033-0E11-0000 employs natural convection to lower both its surface and winding temperature. Without additional blower or axial fans, the AM8033-0E11-0000 has a thermal constant of 28 minutes, thus reaching steady-state temperature at approximately 45 minutes. The AM8033-0E11-0000 has eight poles, a winding resistance of 13.2 ohms, and a winding inductance of 46.3 mH. The measured phase-phase winding resistance and inductance are obtained at 20 degrees Celsius temperature and 1 kHz frequency. The AM8033-0E11-0000 comes with a limited product warranty when bought at Wake Industrial.
