Product Description
The AM8031-0D20-0000 integrates durability, accuracy, and versatility in one motor housing. With a guaranteed lifespan of 30,000 hours, this machine can operate for over 10 years, assuming a continuous operation time of eight hours per day. With proper care and maintenance, the machine can even go beyond the guaranteed lifespan. At its nameplate speed of 6000 rpm, the motor delivers a full-load torque of 1.33 Nm and a power output of 0.84 kW. During continuous mode of operation, the AM8031-0D20-0000 sustains a nominal current of 1.9 amperes at a nameplate voltage of 400 V. As the motor operates longer, the stator manifests power losses via heat. For AC machines, thermal overloading is a serious operational issue that must not be ignored.
The AM8031-0D20-0000 takes care of the generated heat via convection cooling. A thermal contact sensor monitors the internal winding temperature throughout the operation to prevent thermal overload. The AM8031-0D20-0000 has a thermal time constant of 24 minutes and operates in a favorable ambient range of 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. Aside from its nameplate and thermal characteristics, the AM8031-0D20-0000 also offers an advanced feedback system to ensure accurate monitoring of the rotor parameters during operation. The feedback system incorporates a multi-turn absolute encoder that comes in a single cable technology.
With a weight of 1.8 kilograms and a frame length of 129 mm, the AM8031-0D20-0000 is relatively convenient to mount and install. For this product, flange mounting is the best method of installation, allowing versatile orientations. Particularly, the motor may face upwards, downwards, or sidewards, with little to no risks and performance issues. When the drive faces downwards, however, make sure to check for leakage from time to time to prevent irreversible damages.
