Product Description
The AM8023-0E11-1001 is a high-performing Beckhoff motor that features brushless design. It has a nominal voltage of 400 V, but it works well at a wide supply range between 100 and 480 V. At its nameplate voltage, the motor achieves a base speed of 8000 rpm and transmits an equivalent shaft power of 0.84 kW. At this shaft power, the corresponding torque transmitted by the motor is 1 Nm. Aside from its rated voltage and speed, the AM8023-0E11-1001’s nameplate also provides information about the motor’s characteristics at standstill conditions. At standstill conditions, the machine develops an output torque of 1.2 Nm and draws 2.2 amperes.
At maximum drive configuration, the AM8023-0E11-1001 achieves a peak current and torque of 11.4 amperes and 6.36 Nm. When operated at other supply voltage levels other than the rated voltage, the AM8023-0E11-1001 exhibits different working speed, torque, and power. When the supply voltage decreases to 230 V, the AM8023-0E11-1001 delivers 1.1 Nm and 0.52 kW at a shaft speed of 4500 rpm. On the other hand, when the machine is further increased to the maximum supply voltage of 480 volts, the shaft runs at 9000 rpm. At this speed characteristic, the machine delivers 850 watts and 0.9 Nm.
The AM8023-0E11-1001 features a compact construction and a beautiful anthracite gray finish. Weighing only about 1.96 kilograms, including its blocking brake, the AM8023-0E11-1001 performs well for small-size systems demanding a precise motor. During operation, the AM8023-0E11-1001’s holding brake can halt the rotor’s motion at a maximum torque of 2 Nm. The machine employs natural convection for lowering both its internal and surface temperature. To avoid irreversible damages, however, make sure to operate the motor within the ambient range of 5 to 40 degrees Celsius during operation.
