The Beckhoff AM3053-0G30-0000 motor is one of the premium AM Servo Motor Series of motors that is primarily developed for the high speed servo use for different manufacturing industries. Having a leading voltage of 480V AC, this synchronous servomotor outputs a rated power of 2.6kW and the maximum torque of 42.2Nm. It has a rated speed of 2000 min⁻¹ and is well suited for highly automated applications where accuracy and productivity are critical parameters.
It has a standstill torque of 11.37 Nm and boasts of an IP54 protection, making this motor hard working and built to last in even very tough conditions. In addition to that, the motor is built with convection cooling to ensure efficient performance for those times when it will be on for an extended period.
This motor comes with high-quality motor feedback systems; such as resolver, BiSS B, and EnDat 2.1 which enable it to function with a high level of accuracy and synchronization which will enable it to deliver the high levels of functionality needed in applications such as robotics, machine firms, and automated production lines. Technically, it has the flange-mounted IM B5 design to connect with different systems and structures and an M23 connection type to integrate with existing systems. The torque constant of the motor is 2.39 Nm/A while the rotor moment of inertia is 9.120 kgcm² and as such, it is well suited to perform in many applications. The motor is efficient to function in the ambient temperature of +5°C to +40°C, which means it can be used in various conditions.
To maintain the high performance and longevity of the AM3053-0G30-0000 motor, proper maintenance and cleaning practices are essential. The ball bearings are filled with grease and should have a service life of 20000 hours under smooth environmental conditions. The bearings should be replaced after this time to keep the generator in the best performing state at all times. It is recommended to examine the bearing noise of the motor every 2,500 operating hours at the very least, annually. If any kind of sound or noise is heard then stop operating it at once because this is a sign of bearing replacement.
