Product Description
The AM3052-0K30-0000 is one of Beckhoff's high-performance synchronous servo motors from the AM Servo Motor Series. Described to offer accurate movement control in industrial automation the present motor is mainly intended to operate at 480 V AC nominal voltage and has a rated working power of 2.25 kW.
The other characteristic of the AM3052-0K30-0000 is the high peak torque of 30.0 Nm, which allows the motor to manage jobs that require a short moment of maximal force, for instance, the startup moment or force required for overcoming some heavy load. The motor also has a stand still torque of 8.60 Nm which gives the motor holding torque when the motor is inactive and important when it comes to accuracy in a position sensitive system. It has a rated speed of 5500 min⁻¹ which makes it respond fast and this makes it appropriate for use as a motor. The rated torque of 3.90 Nm means that the motor can be used in high speed dynamic type operations where consistent power is required for longer durations.
The AM3052-0K30-0000 uses a convection cooling system, a characteristic of most motors that does not require a fan and cools the motor naturally by dissipating heat to ensure the motor does not exceed the required temperature limit. It makes it easier to fix and assemble, and will also make the motor function effectively under regular industrial use. An impressive feature of this servomotor is the option to choose the feedback type, which can be resolver, BiSS B or EnDat 2.1. These feedback systems allow for precise and accurate feedback with control systems, thereby frequently controlling the motor’s performance delivering sufficient regulating accuracy for automation applications that may need accurate positioning and motion control.
It has a rotor moment of inertia of 6,220 kgcm² for easy acceleration and deceleration, which is desirable in applications where sudden change of speed is frequent or where the load is to be operated dynamically. The torque constant of 0.93 Nm/A also reveals the motor capability to transform electrical energy to mechanical torque that is necessary to enhance performance by using as little power as possible. Typical current is 9.30 A and maximum surge current is 46.5 A; the AM3052-0K30-0000 is designed to operate with different loads and variable conditions. It runs effectively under the environmental range of +5 to +40 °C which is adequate for most industrial conditions. This M2 connection method to the motor provides safe electrical connections, and in the long-run use, it makes the motor more reliable.
