AM3044-0H00-0000 is an AM3000 series servo motor from Beckhoff Automation. Its features are optimized for industrial use. The motor supports a range of three-phase AC input voltages. However, the motor performance varies with the input voltage, and rated output is only available when the rated AC input is provides. At 230 Volts AC the servo motor delivers 2500 RPM shaft speed. At 400 Volts AC the motor delivers 5000 RPM shaft speed. At 480 Volts AC, which is the rated voltage, the motor delivers 6000 RPM rated speed. Standstill torque and current ratings for the synchronous servo motor are 5.89 Nm and 5.6 Amps respectively. The motor is designed for flange mounting. Size of the flange on the motor is 84 millimeters. A smooth shaft provides strong shaft-hub connections.
The feedback sensor is a 2-bit resolver. Feedback is a critical feature that enables accurate control of motor speed and position. For proper operation, the motor must be used in combination with a compatible servo drive. Holding brakes are available as an option. However, the motor is without a holding brake.
