The unit has been designed and manufactured by Beckhoff engineering for use in applications with a considerable torque requirement and precise operations. It can be suitably installed in demanding industrial environments without any performance lapses, and it delivers a consistent output irrespective of temperatures up to 40 degree Celsius. The unit contains a permanent magnet installed in its rotor and thermistors installed in its windings for efficient operations. It implements electronic commutation as it has a brushless design and operates with a feedback mechanism.
