It comes with thermistors installed in the stator windings for efficient temperature monitoring and overload protection. The feedback mechanism implemented using various design features allows for a consistent performance as the position and speed of the rotor can accurately be determined. The commutation in the motor is ensured by electronic commutation since it is a brushless unit

The AM3032-0C31-000A0 unit delivers a unparallelled performance that is suited to a range of industrial applications in robots or machine tools. It works with 480 VAC supply voltage and delivers a torque of 8.18 Nm at peak conditions with a current of 7.2 A. The standstill torque and current delivered by the motor is 2 Nm and 1.44 A respectively whereas the rated torque and speed is 1.86 Nm and 3000 per minute. These performance figures are due to a capable design and a feedback mechanism comprising of EnDat2.1, resolver, BiSS. The unit boasts a rotor moment of inertia of 0.590 kgcm^2 and a 1.4 Nm/A torque constant. The unit is cooled naturally and works fine up to 40 degree Celsius without performance lapses.
