Product Description
The Beckhoff’s AM237M-1020 motor is engineered for industrial automation applications that require high dynamics and precise motion control. Because it works smoothly and works with Beckhoff's AX2000 series servo amplifiers, this motor is great for robots, machine tools, and packaging machines.
The AM237M-1020 motor has a 15-minute thermal time constant and a hub temperature limit of 65°C to make sure that it can handle heat well while it is running. Above 40°C to 50°C, the motor's power declines by 1% every degree Celsius above safe values. Between 2000m and 5000m, it lowers 6% per 1000m. The room temperature is maintained at 145 ± 5°C to prevent overheating. At 6000 rpm, the motor produces 0.62 Nm/A torque and 1.5 A current. The motor has a maximum torque of 0.8 Nm and can make a maximum torque of 1.5 Nm when it is at rest. The motor can also have a high current of 6.5 A and a stationary current of 1.6 A. The AM237M-1020 gets its power from a 400/460 V source and makes 0.5 kW of power. It comes with a simple two-pole resolution feedback unit and a motor with six poles. Different types of input units are available, such as EnDat encoders with one or more turns.
The AM237M-1020 motor has a rotating moment of inertia of 1.0 kg·cm², resulting in faster response times and increased precision. The low static friction torque of 0.03 Nm results in minimal power loss. At its rated speed, the motor can support a 270 N circular load and a 90 N axial force at the shaft end. It can also operate in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 40°C. The AM237M-1020 motor is shipped anywhere in the world and has a one-year replacement guarantee.
